Reservation deposit terms — GetMotors Demo

Who you are dealing with

When you reserve a car on demo.getmotors.co.uk your agreement is with GetMotors Demo, address available from the dealership on request. GetMotors runs the website and the payment page for GetMotors Demo and is not a party to the sale.

What the deposit does

•You pay a deposit of £99 by card. Payments are taken by Stripe; GetMotors Demo never sees your card details.

•The car is taken off sale for 72 hours from when your payment goes through, so nobody else can buy it during that time.

•If you go ahead and buy the car, the deposit comes off the price.

•Reserving does not commit you to buying the car.

Refunds

•If you decide not to go ahead, contact GetMotors Demo at the email address on our contact page or on the phone number on our contact page and the deposit will be refunded to the card you paid with. [Whether this applies unconditionally, and for how long after the hold ends, is to be confirmed by GetMotors Demo.]

•If the hold runs out, or GetMotors Demo releases the hold or sells the car to someone else, the deposit is refunded in full to the card you paid with.

•Refunds usually reach your account within 5 to 10 working days of being issued.
